Fort Clinch State Park

Fort Clinch State Park preserves a remarkable piece of American military history on the northern tip of Amelia Island. The centerpiece is Fort Clinch itself, a pentagonal brick fortress built in the 1840s that played a strategic role during the Civil War and later conflicts.
